My Canon EF-S 17-55 2.8 IS lens is up for sale.
I upgraded to a full frame and can no longer use this lens. If I was able to use this lens on my new camera, I would would like to keep it.
The large 2.8 aperture is excellent for low light photography and buttery smooth bokeh. The focal range was very useful for close to medium range; 17-55mm is effectively a 27-88mm on a full frame. This lens also has IS, which is effective for three stops of image stabilization. You can find additional review material here and here.

The lens is pristine with zero scratches on the body. This was my first lens, so I babied it. The included lens hood has a small hairline crack. I usually store this lens in my bag with the hood reversed and it is usually a snug fit. It may have caused the crack over time. The lens hood will work normally; it will not loosen or fall off. I have read that dust getting into the lens is a fairly common complaint for this. This copy has no dust inside.
